Sprenger WH Ultra Soft Loose Ring Snaffle 16mm Mouth 70mm Ring. The Sprenger WH Ultra Soft Loose Ring Snaffle is the ideal bit for introducing young horses to the bit, or for older horses which are “bit-shy” and need to become more relaxed in the mouth. The KK ULTRA bit design is the basis of the design for the WH ULTRA Soft, but the WH ULTRA Soft features a covering of soft, durable rubber over the centre link to create softer rein aids from the rider’s hands to the horse’s mouth. The WH ULTRA Soft can help prevent teeth grinding and other vices in the mouth due to it’s relaxing effect on the horse.

The WH ULTRA Soft Loose Ring Snaffle is made from SENSOGAN which is a new scientifically proven bit material developed by Sprenger, SENSOGAN is the result of on-going development and improvement of Sprenger’s original bit material AURIGAN. The distinctive composition of copper, manganese and zinc give a much smoother and more regulated process of oxidation. SENSOGAN has been tested and proven to have a very positive effect on the horse’s motivation and willingness to perform as well as contentment in the rider’s contact.

SENSOGAN has a reduced copper content / discharge which ensures the bit keeps it’s white-gold colour for a longer period of time. The new special ingredient is manganese which is an important micro-nutrient which is a crucial activator and component of enzymes, it is also important for building up connective tissues and muscle and energy metabolism. Manganese is helpful in preventing muscle tension and in supporting stress reduction, it can also be an effective antihistamine and could prevent allergic skin reactions. The horse feed industry recognises manganese as a promising food additive important in the nutrition of sport horses.
