Protexin Equine Premium Gut Balancer contains probiotics, prebiotics and yeast to re-establish a healthy gut microflora and to encourage normal digestive function and efficiency. A comprehensive product that can make serious improvements to a horse’s condition. The beneficial microorganisms occur naturally in the gut of healthy animals and act to re-establish the disrupted gut, thus promoting the mechanism of competitive exclusion against potential pathogenic bacteria. This product has been formulated to be administered on a continuous basis to promote efficient digestion and boost natural immunity at times of stress when digestive upsets may occur. Feeding Guidelines Normal Use – 10 grams (1 level measure) added to the daily food. Stress Use – 20 grams (2 level measures) added to the daily food. When environmental changes and stressful situations are anticipated, (eg. travel, competition, etc) feed 20 grams per day for 5 days beforehand and keep at the raised level for as long as considered necessary or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
